The incumbent president of Ghana and the
National Democratic Congress [NDC] Presidential Candidate John Dramani Mahama, has been defeated by his long time rival Nana Akufo Addo of the
Nana Akufo Addo of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, was declared winner after leading the incumbent president with over 400,000 votes.
