The staff multipurpose cooperative society AGM of Bwari area council for
the year ended 2018 has been held with a call on the staff to endeavor to
increase their savings to ameliorate sufferings after retirement.
The call was made in Bwari by the chief registrar of cooperatives Federal
Capital Territory ( FCT) Mrs Hassana
Mohammed who was represented at the occasion by Mr Sani Charles.
Speaking Mrs Mohammed enumerated the benefits of savings in the
multipurpose while expressing joy over the performance of the staff of Bwari
area council in the cooperative.
In his remark the chairman Bwari area council Dr John Gabaya who was
represented by council secretary Mr Eli Peter promised to be fully committed to
the cooperative when certain issues are resolved in the council, also declared his
total support for the cooperative which he said serves as the backbone of the
staff.
In his remark the vice chairman Bwari area council lauded the cooperative
which he said are doing all to help the staff of the council which in turn
would help the performance of the staff.
In a separate remark the president federal cooperative and president of EFCC cooperative Mr Onjefu Obe called on the staff of Bwari area council to invest by buying shares in the microfinance bank set up by the federal cooperative while keying into federal mortgage bank initiative so members can own houses in the FCT with very minimal installmental payment.
