CAN Condoles With The FG, Nigeria Army And Families Of Military Plane Crash

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has commiserated with President Muhammadu Buhari, the military, immediate and extended families of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Ibrahim Attahiru and other officers who were killed while on the ill-fated military aircraft that crashed on Friday, May 21, 2021 near Kaduna Airport.

CAN leadership in a statement by it’s National Secretary Daramola Bade Joseph, Esq expressed sadness for the supreme price they paid and acknowledge with sense of gratitude their selfless services to all in the nation.

The religious body in the statement prayed for President Buhari and all the families affected by their painful exit, asking God to give them the fortitude and comfort of the Holy Spirit to bear the loss and that this type of national tragedy will never occur again.

CAN while expressing genuine concern, suggests that as the nation awaits the report of the cause or causes of this latest crash which is third in recent time, adequate measures should be taken so as to avert this kind of tragedy both in our military and civil aviation in the future.
