The periodic meeting of the Automatic Pricing Committee for Petroleum Products in Egypt to determine fuel prices will be held within days and before the end of January.
The committee holds its meeting on a quarterly basis, every three months.
There they decide the prices of gasoline and diesel fuel according to market variables, which include the international price of a barrel of Brent crude and the exchange rate of the US dollar against the Egyptian pound.
The committee issues new fuel prices for 2023, taking into account that the rate of increase or decrease does not exceed 10 percent.
