Winifred Oyo-Ita resumed work after being away for a week as the country’s
head of service despite being under investigation by the EFCC over alleged N30
billion scam.
The president reportedly rejected her early retirement over alleged
victimisation. Winifred Oyo-Ita who is the head of service of the federation
has reportedly resumed work following alleged encounter with the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The embattled head of service had
reportedly missed work for a week over alleged corruption charges.
Oyo-Ita had submitted her resignation to the presidency over alleged
contract scam of N3 billion, however the early retirement was rejected by
President Muhammadu Buhari.
It was reported that the President Buhari rejected her early retirement as
a result of alleged victimisation.
