Extra Judicial Killing: Hon Romeo Yakubu Oinu Visit Family Of Shedrack Ochoche Tortured To Death By The Nigeria Police (Photos/Video)
A contender for APA/AGATU House of Representative seat in 2023 Hon Romeo Yakubu Oinu has visited the family of Mr Shedrack Ochoche who was toutured to death by the Nigeria police.
During the visit on Thursday in Ogbaulu, Agatu local government area of Benue state hon Oinu said the visit was to console the family over the loss of their son and to assure them that he will do all he can legally to ensure that justice takes it full course with those responsible for the untimely death of their son is brought to book.
The aspirant in his remark urged son’s and daughters of the area to remain calm and be law abiding while them that justiceforshedrack must be achieved.
The representative of the family and youths in the community thank Hon Yakubu Oinu for the show of love saying that no one has ever taken such moves on their behalf before, prayed God to grant him his heart desires to lead his people.
It will be recalled that Shedrach Ochoche, a former worker at a Chinese restaurant in the Jahi area of Abuja, was accused of stealing the car battery of his ex-boss, a Chinese woman popularly known as Madam Pimpim after he resigned from his job because he was owed for three months.
The police personnel attached to the Mabushi division tracked, arrested, detained and mercilessly tortured him. He died in their custody on January 17, 2022.
