Federal Minnistry of Health, has successfully trained executives of accounts and finance departments of health institution/agencies of workshop hestry.
This training was focussed on 2023 budget implementation and monitoring procedure to serve as catalyst for performance improvement in budget implementation/monitoring in healthcare delivery system and in Nigeria.
During the closing ceremony, one of the participants Ibrahim Abubakar said that the training is very important and will make the participants to become coversant with the knowledge of budget process, implementation and contribute to the outcome of budgeting and sevice delivery in Nigeria. Not just that but there will be performance management system for evaluation and feedback mechanism and performance appraisal of executives on the 2023 budget implementation and monitoring procedures in order to see the level of their performance improvement after the training that will lead to close the gaps created in the past. The training is to improve budget performance of the federal government and quality of life for the ctizens.
The trained executives are to go and improve on their performance in budget implementation/monitoring procedures and to develop strategies, solution and systems that were taught in this workshop to enhance performance. This can only be acheived through training, accountability, collaboration through team building strategies, envisioning the future, encouragement of knowledge contribution which we had just learned in this workshop he added.
