Federal Minnistry of Health, has organised two days workshop to train executives of head of account and finance departments of health institution/agencies of the ministry.
Reperesentating the permanent secretary, Dr. Ngozi Azodo, said training the executives in finance and account department on the 2023 budget implementation and monitoring procedure becomes imperative in order to achieve budget aims and objectives of government and budget implementation and monitoring procedure.
The workshop on 2023 budget implementation and monitoring procedure will serve as catalyst for performance improvement in budget implementation monitoring in healthcare delivery system and in Nigeria.
During the workshop, the representative of the director finance and account, Mr Fatai Oyediran said, the workshop will help improving their performance in the implementation and monitoring procedures in this year 2023.
Seaking to the journalists, Director of public health, said that the training is very important and not just that but there will be a feedback mechanism and performance appraisal of executives on the 2023 budget implementation and monitoring procedures in order to minimised and closed the gaps created in the past due to one reason or the other.
The participants during interactive section, said that the workshop will have a great possitive impact in performing their duties.
