First Agatu Fishing Festival (Photos)

People and dignatries from both within Agatu Locks Government and other from all over Nigeria converged at Ochulo fish pond in Agatu for Agatu fishing festival 2022.

The epoc making event which took place on Wednesday had Governor Samuel Ortom represented by his Deputy Engnr Benson Abounu, His Royal Majesty, Dr John Elaigwu Odogbo Och’Idoma the V, First class Chiefs from Zone C, Second Class Chiefs, Third Class Chiefs, Politicians along with men and women from all walks of life in attendance to witness the festival.

Fishing expedition is expected to continue till the next five days and is geared towards fostering/ restoration of permanent peace to Agatu Local government area.
