Benue Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development in Benue State, Dennis Ekpe Ogbu has been released by his kidnappers.
The spokesperson for the command, SP Catherine Anene on Tuesday confirmed the release of the commissioner on the command’s media platform.
Anene, however, did not reveal the details of how the Commissioner regained his freedom and the whereabouts of the other two that were kidnapped along Mr Ogbu.
No information was given if a ransom was paid to the kidnappers for the Benue Commissioner to regain his freedom from his kidnapper’s den.
Naija News gathered that the development was confirmed by the state police command on Tuesday evening.
The commissioner and two others were abducted on Sunday at the Adankari junction of the Ado-Otukpo road while on their way from Utonkon.
