Lagos government to teach students through radio, TV due to coronavirus

The Lagos state government plans to use television and radio in teaching students eight subjects due to suspension of school activities over coronavirus.

Folasade Adefisayo, the Lagos state commissioner for education made the disclosure in a statement on Saturday, March 21.

The commissioner listed the subject which would be taught through the television and radio to include: 1. Mathematics 2. English language 3. Physics 4. Chemistry 5.Biology 6. Economics 7. Literature English 8. Financial Accounting.

She explained that the teachings would be recorded and circulated on various social media platforms for easy accessibility by students.
The commissioner noted that the tutorial programmes are targeted at the students preparing WAEC and the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and other examinations.
