MultiChoice To Increase Prices On GOtv, DStv Packages From April Because Of Inflation

The management of Multichoice Nigeria has announced an upward review of its monthly subscriptions beginning from April 1, 2022.

The company increased the prices of its DStv and GOtv packages.

MultiChoice Nigeria is the Nigerian Subsidiary company of MultiChoice Africa, owner of DStv and GOtv.

In a statement made available to the public and loyal customers on their official website, Multichoice stated that the economic situation of the country made it inadvertently impossible to continue with the old prices.

“In light of the rising inflation costs as well as other economic challenges adversely impacting our business operations, the business has had to review the price of our packages in order to continue delighting our customers with great entertainment, anytime and anywhere.

“Therefore, from April 1, 2022, a new pricing regime for both our DStv and GOtv packages will be in effect.

“The new package prices will reflect as seen; DStv Premium -N21,000; Compact Plus – N14, 250; Compact – N9,000; Confam – N5,000; Yanga – N2,950; Padi – N2,150; Extraview + PVR access fee – N2,900.

“Gotv Max – N4,150; Gotv Joli – N2,800; Gotv Jinja – N1,900; Gotv Smalie – N900.”
