THE National Conscience Party (NCP) has congratulated all Muslim faithfuls
on the birth of the Holy Prophet, and also urged Nigerians, especially the
leaders to emulate the leadership style of Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W)
Its National Chairman, Dr. Yunusa Tanko, made this known in a statement by
his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Comrade Omole Olusegun, in Abuja.
The party said the significant of the birth of the Holy Prophet must be
emulated.
It, therefore, called on the All Progressives Congress (APC) led Federal
government to make life more bearable for Nigerians and safe the country from
hunger.
The NCP chairman went on to say”We, in the NCP, therefore, call on
President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure equality, accountability and justice so as
to move the nation forward. The party also calls on Independent National
Electoral Commission (INEC), the electoral umpire to conduct a free, fair and
credible elections in both the Kogi and Bayelsa States gubernatorial elections,
respectively, scheduled to hold this Saturday, November 16, 2019.
“Our party demands electronic result transfer to afford manipulation
of election results and ballot snatching.”
