Nigeria soldiers fighting Boko Haram send Christmas greetings from battlefield
A Nigerian soldier fighting the Boko Haram insurgents in the northeast, on Wednesday 25th December, shared pictures of him and his colleagues as they congratulate Nigerians on having a peaceful Christmas celebration. “Merry Christmas from this side..May this season come with a reason to always smile and stay happy,” the soldier tweeted via his handle, @optamasting Nigerian soldiers fighting Boko Haram join Christmas celebration.
The tweet drew viral reactions from Nigerians who commended the soldiers for their efforts in keeping the country secure at the expense of their own personal freedom.
