Nigerians in University of Arkansas re-enact the NYSC experience so that foreign students can have the experience (Photos/video)

Nigerian students schooling at the University of Arkansas held an event to re-enact the NYSC experience so that their host community and other foreign students could experience what it’s like.

The Nigerian students went the whole nine yards as they made NYSC uniforms for themselves and for their hosts. They even re-enacted the NYSC camp drills, mammy market, NYSC Passing Out Parade, presentation of NYSC discharge certificate, and other aspects of NYSC.

In photos and videos shared online, Nigerians and foreigners can be seen wearing their NYSC crested vest and their khaki trousers as they carried out the exercises corps member engage in at their various NYSC camps across Nigeria.

Sharing the photos and videos, Twitter user Nnamdi Ezike wrote: “The Nigerian students at the University of Arkansas on Saturday, 01/01/20, held an event that gave our American host community the opportunity to experience the NYSC. We re-enacted the NYSC experience; camp drills, mammy market, parades…”
