Nigeria’s Covid-19 cases is now 17,735 with 587 new case as Lagos, Abuja top list (See breakdown by State)

The coronavirus disease has spread to 35 states in the country and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). However, the infections are not evenly spread as the number of coronavirus cases in Lagos and the FCT alone is higher than the combined figure for all the other 34 states.

Lagos tops the Covid-19 chart with 7,616 cases while Abuja comes a distant second with 1,391 cases.

The two have 9,007 cases combined out of the 17,735 cases across the country which represents 50.7% of the total Covid-19 cases in the country.

Cross River is yet to record a case of the new coronavirus in Nigeria.
