See standing of COVID-19 as WHO releases stats for Africa countries

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has given the latest situation report on coronavirus cases in Africa.

In the WHO African update for Tuesday, May 5, the organisation said that the continent now has 46,500 cases and recorded death figures of 1,800. From the table, South Africa has the highest number of cases with 7,220 and 138 death. It is followed by Algeria with 4,648 cases with the highest number of death at 465.

On the table, Nigeria occupied the third position of countries with 2,802. Ghana and Cameroon are on the 4th and 5th positions with 2,719 and 2,077 cases respectively.
