TOPIC: THE RIGHT THOUGHT AND THE VOICE OF GOD.

SCRIPTURE:
While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. Acts 10:19
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God speaks to those who know how to think, especially those who think the right thought.
It has been confirmed that the right thought attracts the Voice of God. The Voice of God travels inside the right thought. God speaks to us via our thought.
You might have heard God many times but you may have thought you were the one thinking. This happens especially when you are thinking on the right things. Many times when you are thinking on Scriptures, in the midst of the meditation, there is an interruption with something that looks like a thought but not actually your thought because it does not originate with you. That is God speaking to you! You know, that thought does not originate from you; it only comes in the process of meditation.
Acts 10:19 confirms it: While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.
God speaks to those who know how to think, especially, those who think the right thought.
Apart from Peter, the same thing happened to Joseph, Mary’s husband and earthy father of Jesus Christ. Mary got pregnant, and as Joseph was wondering about what happened and what next to do with her, the angel of the Lord appeared and spoke to him. Matthew 1:20 says, But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
While he thought, he received a vision, a revelation on the issue bothering his mind.
Beloved, as you read this, God will open your eyes, ears and spirit to see and hear in Jesus’ Name. I decree that from today, you will begin to see and hear things clearly in the Name of Jesus Christ!
Now, it is important to state here that the devil can also speak to people, especially those whose hearts are centred on evil. When someone keeps thinking about the evil of killing another person for a long time, the devil can tell him: “Stand up! Go and kill that person. He has offended you long enough. Just finish him!” and with that, the person can go ahead to kill his fellow human being. This was what happened to Judas Iscariot. John 13:2 says: And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him;
So, what you think can determine what you hear. You can hear the Voice of God or the voice of the devil, depending on your thought.
Remember this:
God speaks to those who know how to think, especially those who think the right thought.
ASSIGNMENTS:
- Meditate only on the Scripture to connect God’s Voice.
- Avoid evil thoughts; refuse to give opportunity to the devil to speak to you.
- Think positively.
PRAYER:
O Lord, I surrender my heart and thought to You once again. Think Your Thought through me, and help me to connect Your Voice always, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
