SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE.

TOPIC: DEALING WITH THE TRAGEDY OF FEAR.

THURSDAY 08 OCTOBER, 2020.

SCRIPTURE:
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To deal with fear, you must starve your fear and feed your faith.

Fear has been confirmed to be a deadly enemy of destiny. Yesterday, we saw the various negative impacts of fear on life and destiny.

Today, we shall be looking at how to deal with this enemy called fear.

Now, how do we deal with fear?

i. Curse the spirit of fear.

Fear is a spirit. Behind every manifestation of fear is the spirit of fear. Curse that spirit of fear out of your life for God has not given us the spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7).

ii. Starve your fear and feed your faith.

To deal with fear, you must starve your fear and feed your faith. Feed your faith with faith-building passages of Scripture and preached messages. What you listen to determines what you fear or believe. If faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17), then fear goeth by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

iii. Make Positive Word-based Declarations Continually

The Spirit of faith is communicated by your declarations (2 Corinthians 4:13). Stand before your mirror and declare the Word of God to yourself. Publicly declare what God has revealed to you.

Beloved, do not let fear destroy your destiny; declare the right things all the time.

Remember this:
To deal with fear, you must starve your fear and feed your faith.
