POTENTIALS; DOORWAY TO PROMINENCE AND EMINENCE

Your life becomes eminent by the release of your potential.  

SCRIPTURE: For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Matthew 25:14-15.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your life becomes eminent by the release of your potential.  

In our previous study, we saw the benefits of deploying our potential. We saw that Potential is vehicle for destiny; Potential is cure for limitations in life and destiny; Potential is trigger for opportunity and destiny fulfilment.

Today, we shall be looking at key thoughts on releasing potential:

1. The release of potential is doorway to prominence and eminence. 

Your destiny assumes prominence by the release of your potential. Your life becomes eminent by the release of potential.  Joseph, David and Daniel, all became eminent and prominent by the release of their potentials (Gen. 41:37-44, 1 Samuel 16:18-21, Dan. 2:46-48).  

1. When potentials are released, provisions are accessed.  

Nebuchadnezzar, the King of Babylon gave Daniel great gifts after Daniel interpreted his nightmarish dream (Daniel 2:48). Nebuchadnezzar made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon. 

When Joseph interpreted the dream of Pharaoh, Pharaoh took off his signet ring and put it on Joseph’s finger, arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck (Genesis 41:42-44). Your potential connects you with your provision. Your gift is the secret of your lift. Your gift causes gifts to come your way. To release your gift is to receive the gifts.  

My counsel is, discover what God has put in you and develop it. Whatever you spend to develop yourself is an investment into your future and destiny. And the highest form of investment is investment in self-development. A person may lose money at the stock market but the money he spends on personal development is not a waste.

Remember this: Your life becomes eminent by the release of your potential.

2. Determine to deploy your potentials for destiny fulfilment.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to fully discover and maximally deploy my potentials, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
