Revelation flows for one who is always on fire for God.

SCRIPTURE: The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly. Proverbs 20:27.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Revelation flows for one who is always on fire for God.

Revelation from the Word of God has been confirmed to be critical for life and destiny. And one way to get revelation from God’s Word is spiritual fervency.

Sometime ago, my wife and I were travelling and she asked me, “What are you writing all the time? From the lobby, all the way to the aircraft, you have been writing. What have you been writing? Don’t make me feel like I am wasting my time and my life.” So, I showed her what I was writing.

You see, when you carry fire, light is a permanent possession. Revelation flows for one who is always on fire for God.

John 16:13 says,

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

The Spirit of God has the assignment of guiding us into the truth. What is truth? The Word of God is truth. John 17:17 confirms this: Sanctify them by thy truth; thy word is truth.

The assignment of the Spirit is to open up the truth. It is to make us know scriptures that are relevant to our destiny. As a matter of fact, the Holy Spirit is a spiritual networking engineer. He helps us to connect Scriptures with Scriptures. Beloved, if you must access light from God’s Word, you must be on fire for God in the realm of the spirit.

Remember this: Revelation flows for one who is always on fire for God.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Make up your mind to be always on fire for God.
2. Be in possession of Scriptural light always.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to be on fire for You always so I can receive revelation from Your Word, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
