TOPIC: YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND YOUR ATTAINMENT

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The world in which you live affects the life you live.
Environment has a major influence on life and destiny. In life one’s environment affects one’s
attainment.
This means, the world in which you live affects the life that you live. The input you receive into your life
from your environment affects the output of your life. The friends you keep, the environment you live
in, the people you give your ears to and what your eyes see, affect how far you can go in life.
For example, when a green tree is deprived of sunlight, it does not develop well.
Sometime ago, I heard the story of a goat that grew among dogs. Suddenly, this goat began to behave
like dogs.
One day, the goat ran out to welcome its owner when he returned from work and wagged its tail exactly the way dogs do because it grew up in the midst of dogs. The goat also began to eat dogs’ food. The goat began to eat other “ungoatly” stuff because the environment it lived in altered its nature and corrupted its destiny.
Beloved, there is a house you must move out from in order to safeguard your future. Even if it is a free
accommodation, you must run out of it for your future not to be aborted. At times, a man you call a
friend may be a demon incarnate, an enemy in disguise. There could be a job you must run from in
order to secure your future. There is someone whose negative advice has made you to remain unmarried, run from such a person.
Beloved, determine to give careful consideration to the environment of your life. This is because the
input into your life determines the outcome of your life.
REMEMBER THIS: The world in which you live affects the life that you live.
ASSIGNMENTS:
- Mind your environment. Refuse to be in the wrong company.
- Locate the right people for your life and destiny and associate with them.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from wrong friends and the wrong environment. Plant the
right people around my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
