TOPIC: THE WORD OF GOD IS LIFE
SCRIPTURE: But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you want to live productively on the earth, you must pay attention to the Word of God.
The Scripture makes it clear that man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds out of the Mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). So, man lives by the Word that comes from the Mouth of God.
Bread is not the only thing responsible for human survival and sustenance. If survival in life is all about eating physical food only, then there were people who died that were not supposed to die. They were supposed to be alive because they ate a lot of food. Actually, some people even died because of over-eating. So, there is more to human life than eating physical food; and that is the Word of God.
So, the Word of God sustains life and destiny.
John 6:63 says:
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profited nothing: the word that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
The Word of God is a carrier of life. The Word of God is live wire for the child of God; the Word of God is the tonic of life for the child of God; the Word of God is a life capsule or medicine for the child of God.
Beloved, if you want to live productively on earth, you must pay attention to the Word of God.
REMEMBER THIS: If you want to live productively on earth, you must pay attention to the Word of God.
