Soldiers, police foil robbery in First Bank Abuja (Photos)
A robbery operation at First Bank in the Mpape area of Abuja has been foiled by men of the Nigeria Army and police force.
An eyewitness said the bank was surrounded by policemen and soldiers.
The robbers, who has stormed the bank Saturday morning, were trapped inside .
ASP Yusuf Mariam, FCT Police Command Deputy Public Relations Officer, in a statement, said: “Four suspects were arrested and one shot dead while trying to escape. The Commissioner of Police has ordered a discreet investigation of the incident”.
