Speaker Benue House of Assembly and son test positive for COVID-19

Benue State House of Assembly Speaker, Mr Titus Uba and his last son have tested positive to the COVID-19 virus. 

 
Chief press secretary to the Speaker, Lubiem Tiav said samples from Mr Uba and four Assembly members were taken by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

 
Tiav who further said  modalities have been put in place to ensure all Assembly members and staff are tested to ascertain their status, he also asked all who might have come in contact with the speaker within the last week to submit themselves for tests.
