Tears As Accident Involving Truck And A School Bus In Enugu Leaves Many Pupils Dead (Graphic Photos)

A disturbing number of pupils have been confirmed dead in a road accident that happened on Wednesday evening in Enugu State.

The tragic incident happened at Nkwo junction, Mmaku Hill, Awgu Local Government Area of the state around 4:30pm when driver of Presentation Nursery and Primary school bus was conveying each pupils to their various destinations.

It was gathered that the accident occurred after the brake of a company truck failed and rammed into a pupil filled school bus.

The tragic accident also claimed the lives of some staff, that of a roadside tyre repairer, cyclist and mechanic, a source said.

Others who survived the ghastly accident are currently in a critical condition at University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH) Enugu where they are receiving medical treatments.
